As Controller for Legend’s financial operations, Larry is responsible for development and oversight of Legends’s accounting policies and procedures, implementation of internal accounting control guidelines, leadership to the property management accounting team and managing the company’s financial and tax reporting requirements. Larry is directly responsible for maintaining the integrity of all financial services work throughout the company as well as systems administration for the property management and accounting software.  In addition to his accounting duties, Larry also oversees the Information Technology team at Legend.

 

Larry has 16 years of experience as a financial accountant in the real estate industry. He joined Legend from ROSS Management Services, where he was the company’s Assistant controller. In this position, he managed the financial and accounting functions for a portfolio of 30 residential properties in addition to managing the accounting functions of ROSS Renovation & Construction. During his time at ROSS, Larry gained valuable experience with exposure to both market-rate and low-income housing. Prior to this, Larry worked in public accounting as a Senior Audit Associate for the Reznick Group. Larry graduated from Clemson University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
