Laurie Shade is Senior Director of Marketing and New Construction Manager at Legend Management Group. In her 30-year career with Legend Management she has held positions in leasing, marketing, regional property management and construction. Since 2000, Laurie has been involved in the design, planning, implementation and lease-up of twelve successful new properties, working closely with management, the developer and the design/construction teams. She benefits from a variety of management experiences including new garden apartments, urban high-rise combined with retail and aging properties.

Regarded for her mentorship and employee development, Laurie has built several award-winning teams, recognized nationally as Exceptional and Superior in Resident Satisfaction. She enjoys taking on new challenges, finding the balance between creativity and pragmatism to achieve optimal results. She thrives on building strong foundations for people and projects to develop.

Laurie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a concentration in international business/marketing from Bowling Green State University. She earned the CPM® designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management® in 2002.
